Join us at First Presbyterian Church, 1901 Vine Street, Hudson WI. You will hear from Ken Holman, Hudson City Forestry Board on “Trees for your Landscape”, Bob Dahm on Lawn Turf Options and Alex Bouthilet, Seed Farm Manager on Prairie Restoration, plantings and how this is important for soil health and clean water.

St. Croix CURES will host a free community event for gardeners, homeowners, and anyone passionate about protecting the St. Croix River and local groundwater.

Childrens' activities Ages 5 - 18 (rock painting, face painting, poster contest)
The event is designed to help residents understand how everyday yard and garden choices — from lawn care products to fertilizer application — can have a direct impact on the groundwater beneath their feet and the health of the St. Croix River, a nationally designated Wild and Scenic River and a treasured regional resource.
