Come and join us as we tour the Star Prairie Seed Farm. Meet Alex, Seed Farm Manager and his volunteers for an evening in the field. Learn about the value of native plants in a watershed. Learn about the US Fish & Game’s Waterfowl Production Areas. We start the tour at 4:00 PM. Afterward feel free to stay and join in and pick some seeds. Bring your own water.

In case of rain, the tour continues inside. A outdoor restroom is available on site. See address below. From Star Prairie, go east on County Highway H.

Native plants protect clean water from the ground up. Their deep roots slow runoff, prevent erosion, filter pollutants, and help rainwater soak naturally into the soil.
